FocusLock

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Privacy at a glance

FocusLock does not require an account and does not send your app data to a developer-operated server. App settings and focus records are stored on your device. Eligible settings may sync through your private Apple iCloud database when iCloud is available.

1. Information handled by FocusLock

FocusLock uses Apple frameworks to provide focus sessions, app blocking, schedules, usage reports, optional iCloud sync, and in-app purchases. We do not operate an account system, advertising service, analytics service, or business-data server for FocusLock.

2. Local app data

Your settings, focus plans, focus history, and related records are stored locally on your device. You can remove local FocusLock data by deleting the app, subject to data that may remain in your private iCloud storage.

3. Screen Time

If you grant Screen Time authorization, FocusLock uses Apple Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings APIs to let you select apps or categories, apply restrictions, and display usage information. Screen Time authorization, selections, and active restriction state remain managed on the device through Apple frameworks and are not uploaded to a developer-operated server.

4. iCloud

When you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud access is available, eligible FocusLock settings may sync through your private CloudKit database so they can be available on your Apple devices. Apple processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. FocusLock's developer does not use a public CloudKit database to collect your app content.

5. Purchases

Monthly and annual subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple provides the app with purchase status needed to unlock Premium features. We do not receive your payment-card details.

6. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell FocusLock data and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information only when required by applicable law; because FocusLock does not collect app data on a developer-operated server, we generally do not possess your local app content.

7. Children

FocusLock is a general productivity utility and is not directed at collecting personal information from children. The app does not require an account and does not knowingly collect children's personal information on a developer-operated server.

8. Your choices

  • You can grant or revoke Screen Time and notification permissions in system settings.
  • You can manage FocusLock's iCloud access through Apple ID and iCloud settings.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.
  • You can delete local app data by deleting FocusLock.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when FocusLock's features or legal obligations change. The current version will be published at this page with a revised date.
